What’s the difference between a keto diet and paleo?
Paleo is type of low-carb diet that attempts to reproduce more or less exactly the diet we had through the last half million years of our evolution. A Paleo diet does not necessarily put your body into Ketosis, which is the state in which we are using ketones produced from stored body fat for energy.
And yet, without doubt, part of the normal diet of paleolithic humans would have been one that put us into ketosis occasionally. So, ironically, paleo diets are not paleo without keto.
